Delete your BentoMind data
BentoMind is an app by Shivang Gupta. It has no accounts, and almost everything it stores lives only on your phone, so you can delete it yourself at any time. The only data we hold is a report you chose to send us.
1. Data on your phone
Deleted immediately. We never have a copy, so we can't restore it either.
- Chats: Delete a conversation from the chat list, or all of them in Settings → Data → Clear all chats.
- Memories: Settings → Memory: delete single memories or clear them all.
- Downloaded models: Models: delete any model to free its storage.
- Remote endpoints and API keys: Models → Remote: remove an endpoint and its saved key.
- Everything at once: Uninstall BentoMind. Android deletes all of its data from your phone.
2. Reports you sent us
When you tap Report on a reply, BentoMind sends us that reply, the prompt, your optional note, technical details (phone model, Android version, model and settings), an anonymous device code and your country. Nothing else, and never your name, account, contacts or other chats.
How to request deletion
- Email privacy@bentomind.com with the subject "Delete my BentoMind reports".
- Tell us roughly when you sent the reports and what they were about, so we can find them (reports carry no name).
- We delete the matching reports within 30 days and reply to confirm.
What is deleted, what is kept
- Deleted: the reports you identify, including all the details listed above.
- Kept: nothing from those reports. We keep your request email only until we have confirmed the deletion.
- Even without a request, every report is deleted automatically 12 months after it was sent.
3. Services you use through the app
Web search (DuckDuckGo), nearby places (OpenStreetMap) and remote models you add (for example your own server or a hosted provider) receive requests directly from your phone. We don't receive or store that data; each service handles it under its own privacy policy.
